What’s the difference between the two? And also is it necessary to buy the protection plan? And they offer ms office for 39$ 1 yr subscription what happens after one yeAr?
@Judy:
Core i7 is the more powerful processor, depends on your needs really.
Buying on AMEX will give you 2 years warranty, so I wouldn’t bother with protection.
You would have to renew.
i7 is out of stock
Both these laptops are worth the price.
Thanks for posting š
Dan, do you usually stay up straight for a few days at this time of the year and catch up on sleep on Shabbos?
I need for general home use browsing , digital. Pics… Is i5 good enough?
Also is it only touch screen or can that be disabled an use a mouse too?
And lastly I don’t have Amex what about chase sapphire preffered will that give me warranty and service?
It also says if u but the protection it gives u access to help and support . Without that will I have any Microsoft support? And can I add this later if I change my mind?
Thanks sorry for so many q but I’m looking for so long for good deal and this sounds pretty decent( although is prefer windows 7 still)
@Deals:
Something like that.
@Judy:
i5 is fine.
You can use a mouse.
Chase is fine, just not as good as AMEX warranty.
@deals Don’t you realize that the last few days Dan is in a different country on a different time zone?
@SOS:
I wish, this is just the BF/CM week craziness.
@Dan thanks for the awesome deal!!!
Where does it say free returns until 02/01?
@Jayny:
I was told that by several reps and tested it out on a laptop earlier this month to confirm it myself š

@Dan:
So I guess “In Dan we trust.” Wouldn’t be the first time, and definitely not the last. š
Thanks again for the deal.
Thanks Dan. I got the Dell. I was waiting for a Signature edition like this.
Is this laptop better than this one that was posted recently? http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-pavilion-15t-laptop-m7h64av-1
@Menashe:
The Microsoft deal is much better.
@Dan: @dan Is it a better computer?
On the keyboard is the ther a number pad On the side
The 399 one is unavailable now
Core i7 out of stock again
i7 out of stock again š
Got two if the Dell. Thanks
Will I get 5 points on my ink card for charges by Microsoft?
Does anyone know the difference between 4th, 5th, and 6th generation processors?
4th good old,
5th new mostly better battery life
, and 6th newer improved more battery life
(speed a bit more)
If anyone needs one of these, I have extra. Selling at cost price. PM me on the forums.
These deals were available in the physical Microsoft store. But the sales people did not have any information regarding the i7’s included $50 Windows Store gift card. Does anyone have any data points on this?
For those who ordered via the web, please post if the $50 Windows Store gift card was included and if the card was in the laptop box.
the dell deal is back on!:)
I don’t have twitter or texting; can you email me dan’s deals when a new computer comes up; I’m looking for a Dell laptop, new, with a 15″ or greater size screen Thanks.
