Seems to have pretty good reviews… for $30 I’ll bite.
plaase note this is a Ink Jet not a Laser jet, Ink Jet uses a lot of ink, and the ink is not cheep
@Y Fried: That is true, but there is inexpensive generic ink available. If the printer is for personal use, this is a really good buy.
i discarded my brand new laserjet after the second refill, not only is the ink costly but it always dies exactly when you need it,i purchased a brother laser for about 70 and i am very happy
If anyone doesn’t have printer… just buy this, I am using it for 3 years…works well, you can scan documents directly cloud services, can set up for google cloud print.
you can easily find 10 generic ink cartridges for around $6 either in ebay or amazon…just go for it….
I’ve got one. I am an occasional user, thanks for all those reassuring my purchase.
@Y Fried: i have three brother ink jet printers and imuse generic inkmwithnknowcproblem and they are not expensive at all they are abt $4.00 per color.
Will the ink be cheaper for this printer vs the other staples printer deal the other day? http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/75241
I have this printer as well and it works fine.
I bought generic inks for about 10 dollars for 6 cartridges and they did not work, until I broke off the chip from the original cartridge and reattached it to the generic cartridge.
We’ve been using this same printer for a couple of years. I choose to use Brother’s own ink, and it’s not really that expensive…good deals on the ink at Amazon and costco.com. Fax, copy, etc. all work well, and I scan to my iPhone.
Only gripe I have is that to print an envelope, one needs to pull out the paper tray, remove the paper, put in the envelope, move the guides, then print. No way to sheet-feed.
This is a good deal.
dead?
dan is this dead?
They selling it now for 60$ in the website of best buy. So probably this deal not exist anymore.
