I thought about that, but 2 things to considering.

– if all of a sudden they start receiving order of 10-20 treadmills, they will be MUCH more likely to renege on all the sales, even for the people buying 1 or 2
– Re shipping a large, heavy piece of equipment which you would need to store somewhere with EBay/Amazon reselling fees not to mention price cut to retail would probably make this not worthwhile for reselling.

amazon reviews basically say its a piece of junk.. parts break all the time…

I bought stuff recently from them which was also “very cheap” & it shipped from the Returns department. Keep that in mind.

This is an older model being phased out by proform.

Looks like an intentional clearance based on the fact that the more expensive search result will not load if clicked on and the cheaper price ends in .97

Sports authority’s search function is screwy. Sometimes a search will not result in a hit but a direct link to the prosaic works.

Bought 1. Just read reviews in Amazon…not so impressive. But we used the Amex card, so if there is any problem, we should be able to return it or get Amex to cover it.

It’s a regular price drop the mor expensive one is so more a active listing it’s only a dummy the reviews on amazon on not very good

Especially when no other retailers are even in the same ballpark.

Keep in mind the size of this item. The 14.0 is 79 inches long (over 6 1/2 feet). If you have a small house/apt, you might not have room for it.

Just Spoke with customer service and tried to cancel my order but said it is to late.
However you don’t have to ship it back you can just take it to any store and return it

check your order on the $399 elliptical.
Once the order goes thru they give you a different model

Days after placing order and receiving a confirmation of order, received email from store that order was cancelled due to system order.

I called them up and they are giving it to me at cost $500 +tax free shipping plus i got that $50 gift certificate.

I received a email 5 days after ordering it that they are canceling it and got credit but got it delivered today.

@lmfao I have a missed call from a trucking Company that they want to schedule a delivery. I have no clue what they want, I got a cancellation email from Sports Authority.

The truck driver told me that he delivered 11pc in boropark today

Just received the Freemotion 510 model as well. Looked it up on sports authority they dont even sell this model. However, it was delivered from Icon health and fitness where the price is $4,999. Has anybody got in touch with sports authority about this?

Reviews for freemotion 510 are horrible. Did people actually get this for free?

Is it difficult to assemble? They offer a contracted company to do it for about 180.00. Any tips?

@sunny day, I also got the Freemotion 510. It took me 3 hours to build with my brother. It’s free so I don’t really care what the reviews are, but so far I am very happy with it.

Who said it’s free – I didn’t get charged either but I don’t feel right keeping it – did anyone contact the sports authority?
