Hi Dan-
I’ve been trying to find these tickets for 15 minutes now. I’m on Priceline, looking for LGA-DTW for Sept. 24th, and back DTW-LGA for Oct. 1st. Although American keeps coming up as the cheapest option, the lowest fare shown is $143.20 (and it’s not direct).
I’ve already tried searching them as one-ways instead of round-trips, but I’m not finding the $38.10 fare.
Is it possible that this deal is already dead?
(PS I’m internet savvy and computer literate so please don’t assume that I just have no idea what I’m doing. Advice would be appreciated- thank you!)

Use Priceline, search one seat at a time.
@Tammy: Fridays are no good…..you need to first try Google Flights to see what days are available.
@Dan: I am- I’m only entering the information in for one adult.
@joetraveler: I’m trying to book for Thursdays. Both dates are listed in Dan’s dates above.
I’ve used Dan in the past (thanks for $25/rt to LA, and $400 nonstop to Israel, btw) but I think this deal may be dead, or maybe Priceline just really doesn’t like me very much.
I’ll try one more time and then maybe use the Name Your Own Price option and put in around $80, which is a little higher than what the discounted ticket should be.
