how can you get a .edu email address?
I just bought it this way about a month ago do you think I can still get 2010?
I have a .edu address, but I’ll keep using Open Office. Free.
I think you can only order Ultimate 2007 once through this promotion. So if you already got Ultimate 2007 through this promotion, then you can’t do it again.
Correct me if I am wrong!
Is there any offer for Mac users or just for windows?
To Hillel,
Try Australia.edu you can get an .edu address there.
The offer is intended for students, not just those who happen to have a .edu address.
You would need a .edu address, usually supplied by your college.
Also, check out Microsoft’s DreamSpark for lots of free software for students that does not require a .edu address.
@ralph: what happens if the ask me to prove that i am a student.
I attempted to get a .edu thru australia.edu. I signed up and they said that I need to be manually approved by someone in order for the email account to be setup. They said that it might take a while BUT if I donate $20 to them, the chances are higher/faster that I’ll be approved. I did not donate the $20 because I have no immediate need for the .edu email address. So far it has been a week and I have not heard back from them I will try to post an update when I get a response from them.
I need a street address in Sydney. I only need it because I work from home and need a consistent street address to go on websites and directories for seo purposes. I would prefer not to have to pay $10 per week as I’ve seen for a virtual office. I don’t need a phone of anything but my mail being redirected to my PO Box
