I get tons of free magazines and have been getting my daily Wall Street Journal fix for years for free via Rewards Gold. I alternate the name on the subscription between my family members.
The WSJ offer has become increasingly hard to find without logging in and taking a survey, so grab it while it lasts!
Don’t worry about how many “points” are required. Just select the subscription and click to continue.
It can take anywhere from 2-14 weeks for your subscription to start coming. You won’t get any email confirmation.
Please Note: If you want to avoid getting an error message and/or having to take a long survey to get the subscription you can follow these steps before clicking the links below.
Step 1: Open Internet Explorer.
Step 2: Click on Settings>Internet Options>Security>Custom Level. Then scroll about 80% of the way down to “Scripting” and click on “Disable” under active scripting.
Step 3: Click OK at the bottom to confirm the change.
Step 4: Click on any of the links below to order your free subscription.
Step 5: Enable active scripting (the same way you disabled it in Step 2.)
Step 6: Fill out the 1 page form with your billing address and select the free subscription.
Step 7: Wait between 2-14 weeks for your subscription to start coming. You won’t get any email confirmation.

Hey Dan if I already have a subscription to Wall Street journal from the last time I did the rewards gold thing, will it extend my subscription?
WSJ it is, Thanks Dan!
Thanks Dan. You’re the best
How can we do this with chrome or firefox?
Is there a way to do this on a Mac? With safari or chrome?
The link for Parents 7 months print is not working
Has anyone else had any problems resubscribing to the WSJ it seems that they are really cracking down on addresses that are not new subscribers.
The link for a print subscription to Parents isn’t working. Thanks!
@Doug Levison: It takes 2 minutes to run through the survey in chrome if you don’t want to mess with the settings (or are blocked at a company PC).
Just found a Chrome extension to quickly turn Java Script on and off. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/quick-javascript-switcher/geddoclleiomckbhadiaipdggiiccfje/related?hl=en
I signed up for the WSJ via RewardsGold on May 15th.
I haven’t received anything (yet).
@Dan, a couple of questions:
1. Can we stack two trials for the WSJ on top of each other? So two 26 week trials or one 26 week and one 39 week? Do they have to be under two different names? Can I combine them into one subscription or do they get merged automatically bc they have the same name and address?
2. I live outside of the USA- and I’m just interested in getting online access to the WSJ/Barron’s. I don’t have any friends/family in the USA who could accept delivery so I tried signing up for the trial with a US hotel address but never got informed when it got delivered. Do you have any trick to be informed by email when the subscription has been processed, as well as a way to find out the account number of the subscription? (as in the magsformiles deal).
