Awesome deal! Just got 50 tickets!
Can I book through Chicago but pick up the flight in PHL?
please note this is full fare class!!!
I am not sure why you say US Airways has to be best business class I would argue that the Air Canada 787 business class is a nicer and newer product
@Dovid:
Not for the outbound, you can for the return.
@Yossi:
From what I’ve heard the AC seat is narrow, though I haven’t flown it. Have you flown both?
Also flying through YYZ is a pain, though that doesn’t have to do with the seat.
I see for 2100$ via London or Madrid
Got tickets for December and for Pesach. FULLY REFUNDABLE!!!!
How can this help me from NY?
@rda are they all fully refundable?
@Thanks Dan: What does one have to do with 50 flight tickets?
@Curious: its being a TROLL
What can us nyers do
@malka: wait for a ny deal
@malka: fly to ORD from NY.
Not seeing the 05/23/ to 05/30 dates. Does that mean it’s gone or I’m doing something wrong?
“You must start travel in Chicago, though you don’t need to take the final Philadelphia-Chicago segment.”
If we get off in philadephia on the way back, do we still earn all the miles?
for the ny people use ord-tlv tlv-phl-lga and than phl-ord
Dan you are super! 2 tickets Dec22-Jan4. The rules seem to allow full refunds and no fee changes. Am I reading it correctly? Please confirm
Dan,
Are you positive that one gets the full milage credit even if skipping the final PHL-ORD leg?
I remember in a similar situation in which I skipped the final leg from PHL and I got ‘0’ milage credit!
If they intended to do a sale they will usually restrict the fare to I class and more restrictive rules and not such a long booking window
This appears to be a wrong fare filing not a typical mistake fare but rather the coding of the fare
I would book right away nothing to lose as its fully refundable at this point
Just looked up the historical ORD TLV fare basis J1E1FR 11130(USD) which is the same for the current fare
Missing a 1 the fare base should be 11129(USD) instead it was filed 1129(USD)
For a trip originating in LA, I’m adding a revenue one-way LAX-CHI for the outbound. For the return, I changed the TLV-PHL-CHI to a TLV-PHL-LAX-CHI for a total fare of $2215. Will I have a checked baggage problem if I get off at LAX?
@joetraveler: You will, because when you recheck your bags in PHL after clearing customs it will be tagged all the way to ORD
If I booked a 23 hour ‘layover’ in LAX, perhaps the agent would let me retrieve my checked bags in LAX?
@joetraveler:
Indeed.
worked like a charm. no issue except for the seats have to be changed on the usair website . this is even though American has said there will be no us air after this year and the tickets I got were for January.
@Dan: @joetraveler: @Dan:
Ha! USair flight 797 from TLV to PHL actually continues on to LAX. I know that there’s probably a change of equipment in PHL (and I’ll have to do customs in PHL) but this should simplify the checked baggage problem.
Looks like it’s dead.
Fare is Indeed dead
J1E1FR is now filed correctly 11129(USD)
DEAD
