There is a deal on a lenovo laptop for only $519. Lenovo offers its 5.5-lb. Lenovo Z50-70 model no. 59436279 Coupon code “USPZ579319″ With free shipping.
Features include an Intel Haswell Core i7-4510U 2GHz dual-core processor, 15.6” 1920×1080 (1080p) LCD, 8GB RAM, 1TB hard drive, DVD burner, webcam, 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, 4-cell battery, and Windows 8.1 64-bit.
is that a better laptop than the one dan has diplayed?
@yo: Yes
Completely different machine, apples and oranges.
ones an I5 and one I7. Dan- whats better about yours? need for regular business activity. Im not a computer game guy.
The i5/i7 difference is nearly meaningless.
One is a touchscreen laptop that becomes a tablet as well. One is a regular non-touchscreen laptop.
@Dan: True, but the specs are better. Better RAM, processor, and network card
if you dont care to have a tablet which machine is better
@yo: @Dan: There is also more storage on the I posted. The downsides to the one i posted as compared to the one dan posted are:
No touchscreen or swivel
no SSD, but more storage in general
a little less battery
no backlit keyboard
heavier by around one pound
The positives are:
Better RAM (helps with faster multitasking)
better processor
better network card
reduced-glare screen
For an extra $19 not a bad deal but your choice
do you suggest the 3 year warranty
Will this deal last till after Shabbos?
thanks.
@yo: You pay with Amex and use their warranty when needed.
@E: Is this deal on Lenovo’s website?
@E is that Lenovo a think pad? Which portable additional screen (think vision?) would go beards?
