why do you need an app ? there’s an option to print webpages, photos etc. directly from the ipad.
Guys, download the app even if you don’t see a use for it now. You can delete it right after if you want.
Like that it’ll be tied to your iCloud account as “Purchased” and you’ll be able to redownload it again later for free.
Otherwise you’ll have to pay for it if you decide you want it later.

Thank you, Dan!
@moshe: That is only to iphone friendly printers…. This is to all printers that have wifi.
Also adds print-to-PDF functionality to iphone.
Thanks!
Anyone know if it can download to a Nokia Lumina Windows
phone?
Thanks Dan. This is an awesome app, and it is way better than the standard print option. As stated above, the standard print option is only for certain compatible printers.
Example, at my work we use a high end Konica Minolta bizhub printer. This is linked to our wifi, but the printer itself does not have wifi (it is hardwired). With this app, and the desktop application, I am now able to print from my ipad. This just saved me multiple steps and a good deal of time. The whole setup only took a minute or two and was super simple.
The app found the printer, but when I print without the help of the desktop app the alignment is all wrong. I am not too concerned as the whole thing is still way easier than emailing the documents and then printing. The desktop app and ipad app are very quick when communicating with one another.
I have the brother app that connects to my wifi printer. Is there any extra benefit to this?
