the rebate says that you have to send in the original CASH REGISTER receipt. will an online purchase work?
“original cash register receipt” can you buy online?
AS of now the these the star k does not recommend the film coated to be used.
@receipt:
@J:
If they intended to exclude online purchase they would have said so.
Just send the original receipt that is in the package.
@Miriam:
The only list I could find is a Pesach list due to kitniyos concerns.
Are the film coated ones more of a kashrus problem?
Any issues with kashrus?
@Miriam: I specifically asked about using it all year round, and they told me to use a different product.
@Dan: Why would they have to exclude it if it says cash register receipt?
Are you sure it would work?
Miriam you are such a tzadeykus. The ou says medication cant be traif as it is not food
Out of stock
oos
And it reappears as $6.99
out of stock
@Miriam: Thank you for sharing that important warning for those of us who wish to avoid these Shailos.
@yankol: believe it or not, OU is not the only position in Halacha.
out of stock
Thanks @miriam for saving me from a michshoul
You apparently don’t have to buy it from DrugStore.com. You could buy it at your local drug store.
$4.99 at cvs
As of 2:16 pm item is out of stock according to website
@yankol: this is not the place to toss sarcasm, but to do so with untrue facts is another thing. see what the ramah and ou themselves has to say about the topic.

@Yankol. Don’t listen to Eli. The sarcasm was indeed in line. If people such as Eli or Miriam can dish nonesense, obviously taking a questionable chumra stance without knowing or learning the precepts involved they should expect a response as such.
boohoo!!!! out of stock I will try my local cvs!!!!thanks again
IN TARGET, you can get a bottle of 40 tablets for $6.87 – $5 rebate = $1.87 for 40 tabs. Or get a bottle of 20 for only $3.99.
for Dan. Why do you post the obnoxious and irrelevant to the post comments. Personally i feel that they poison the cordial fun atmosphere of the site. If you respond i.d prefer to my email. Thanks for all you do
@yis:
Because when I don’t post them they start cursing me out for running a communist site.
Can’t win.
At dollat tree you can always buy 40 ibuprofen tabs for one dollar
@yankol: While everyone should be asking his/her Rabbi for any Psak, my understanding is that any solid, UNCOATED medication does not need to be Kosher, as it is not considered food. However, if a coating is put on, there may be an issue.
Why must it be that someone bringing up what they think is a valid point is ridiculed?
has anyone received the rebate??
