thank you I have been waiting for a deal like this for awhile now!!!!
Isn’t the normal price at bed bath and beyond a better deal? 400 and then a 20% coupon.
lest year deal was better
stainless steel bowl not included
Regular price in the electronic stores in borough park is 450 with both bowls. Unless this is a better machine than the one everyone sells, this is not a deal!
You can make challah with the bowl included, no need for steel bowl.
Can i buy the stainless bowl seperately
Stainless steel bowls are on sale at many online retailers today. However you can make challah just fine without it.
However, I think it is s better deal at bed bath and beyond with twenty percent off and lifetime returns.
@Dan: according to me wife when you make challa for a large family or in bulk the steel bowl is a must
@Anonymous:
It’s not. Though it is prettier 😀
@ella:
No Amazon tax in most red states, sorry blue state folks 😉
Dan I must say you are wrong on this one I bought it with last years deal and if you make Challah ever week you NEED the steel bowl, your plastic bowl will not last even a year!
where should I buy the stainless steel ball for the mixer?
where’s he cheapest?
can someone write here who has the sainless steel bowl on sale PLEASE??
@Dan:
she asks you if you make 6 pounds every week woudn’t you agree that steel bowl is more durable and last longer than plastic
I’m selling my stainless steel bowl in Brooklyn – brand new… Am I allowed to publish my contact info here so I can make a sale and give a fellow challah baker a good price? 🙂
Thanks!
where can i get the machine with 2 bowls for a good deal?
@Anonymous:
So use the plastic bowl and then replace it with steel when you need to?
By DB Electronics you can get it with the metal bowl, which everyone says is a must for challah baking, for $489 plus tax but only in state tax of 3.5% if you’re in NJ (none for the rest of you) as opposed to 7% tax everywhere else charges.
@Chanie i would love to purchase the stainless steel bowl from you, can you call me 718-427-1701
ive been using the plastic bowl only for a while bec the piece inside my metal bowl broke off. After a few months of challah use my machine now makes a ton of noise. I really think I broke it by using the plastic bowl for challah. If I remember correctly the manual said the metal bowl is for heavy doughs etc…
dan someone that bakes challah even every second week it will not be a good idea to use the plastic bowl, & to purchase it seperately is not such a good deal….
@Dan:
I hear you but we have the gift certificates from sbs that we want to use; if plastic bowl breaks well have to actually pay for steel bowl!
@Chanie: how much would you ask for the bowl?
Legend has it that the Bosch family was/were righteous gentiles during the Shoah. I have leaned on this legend to feel good about our Bosch appliances. Does anyone have additional information about this story? And please don’t tell me GIYF…I have done that, and there is precious little of substance.
So is 489 at db a good price?
@Rivka:
Can you please write the number of the store in BP that sells the mixer and stainless steel bowl for $450? Does this include tax? Thank you.
@spgdude:
Bowl is $139 online: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00173UMTI/?tag=cl03f-20
Just saw on overstock.com that they have the same item for the same price, (I think it’s for today only) with free shipping, and no tax.
But when you open an account you get a 10% discount for your first purchase, which bring the total to 305.99…
@Dan
That is not the right bowl this is what you need
