Viper Remote Start System And Geek Squad Installation For $189.99 Shipped From Best Buy

I would like to recommend staying away from this because I had 2 of these installed in both my cars by Geek squad and I can assure you that they have no clue what they are doing because both of them didn’t work.

I tried to buy this. I won’t sell it to you unless you are a Best Buy Elite Member. What is that?

“best buy elite” is a status within their rewards program (after spending $3500 in 1 yr- i think). but even without that it shouldnt prevent you from purchasing anything.

also just want to note that many times these pkgs comes with ‘free installation’ … BUT THERE MAY BE ADDITIONAL PARTS/BRACKETS REQUIRED THAT ARENT INCLUDED

I got one of these things installed last year. After calling bestbuy about their fees, and reading about their bad reputation, i found a local shop via groupon who specializes in these, with a good reputation and better price.
Im not sure if this includes the bypass module, so please be sure to call bestbuy and tell them what car you want it installed in and they will tell you what the “additional fees” are.
If your car is less than 15 years old and has a chip in the key you need a bypass module.

Just hung up with Best Buy and the rep told me there is an additional 95 dollar charge for Labor so you might wanna take that into account.
