McAfee may not be worth much, but it’s a decent way to get some free miles and a Newegg gift card…

Worked!
Thanks Dan as always
Can I get more then 1?
$15 back for $150 spend via Amex sync.
Is the chase ink card the best credit card to get? (New follower of dansdeals). What card can I optimize getting points for flights? Thanks for the help and all comments are appreciated.
vgc is cashoutable?
There was a similar deal for McAfee AntiVirus and Total Security as well which may still be valid. Those might need to be accompanied by a coupon code to drop the price to free after rebate. You can buy all three to help reach that $150 spend for AmEx. BTW, buying NewEgg gift cards counts towards the $150 spend for the AmEx deal.
@Shalom – Sapphire is probably best for purchasing travel, 2.14 miles per dollar and great sign up bonus. Ink is also a winner, not as good for travel, but if you are into the whole Office Supply stores visa gift card frenzy, it can be great. You should really check out the “Credit Cards” tab at the top of the page to find info. Just my opinion. Kol tuv.
Thanks as always Reb Dan
@David R:
Item# N82E16832484062 is $45 – $45 MIR and comes with a $10 NewEgg gift card. Item# N82E16832484067 is $65 – $65 MIR.
@jr: No PIN, use Evolve or AP.
Check you AMEX offers to see if they have the Spend $150 or more, get $15 back deal.
@jr: Hello, is your first day on DansDeals?
@David R: Can you get rebates on all 3 McAfee items? the rebate form says 1 per person. Can you do it if they are different products?
I think so. I am buying all 3 and I will see if I am right.
$3.85 tax…
Oh, that’s NJ, I’ll ship it to NY 🙂
@dan why do you suggest that McAfee may not be worth anything?
@David R: If not, can you paypal me the money that McAfee doesn’t send me? 🙂
@Dan’s the Man: If we both don’t get the rebates, we can PayPal the money to each other, okay? The rebate terms state: “One rebate per product per household is allowed; not to be combined with any other offer.” I assume McAfee AntiVirus Plus 2014, McAfee Total Protection 2014 and McAfee Internet Security 2014 are different products, so you can get one rebate for each.
@David R: Thanks a lot! I ordered all 3 with my registered Amex! I get 3 programs I don’t need and $35. And thanks Dan, of course.
Read the product reviews on newegg – it gets 2 stars & everyone complained about not getting their rebate.
Dan, whats the best way to use 120k amex points ?
should i wait for 30% transfer to BA ?
any other ides?
No Newegg giftcard was automatically added to the cart. Was that a one-day offer?
Dan, I bought one but they are not giving me a rebate, they are saying that the rebate is only for July 21-July 31, and i bought it when you posted it in on june 26.
Turns out that they thought I was applying for a different rebate.
Dumb staff!
