OK guys! If you do it direct through your device you cant buy an incompatible app. But if you do it on a computer through Amazon’s website it will let you “purchase” it even if its not compatible.

I changed my Amazon address from NY to OH and didn’t have to pay tax either 🙂

@Dan You can actually repeat this over and over again (up to 20,000 coins earned per day), all you have to do is delete the app from your account, then go back and purchase again. (To delete the app, click “Your Android Apps and Devices” which is in “Your Account”, find the GTA app, and click “Actions” then “Delete this app”.
I just did it 10 times successfully, and now have close to 14k points. Depending on when this promo will end, I may end up with 100k points.

Considering you can buy them at a 10% discount ($90 for 10k coins), I have no idea what the actual market value would be.

I tried purchasing GFA a second time, & it’s not crediting me the coins a 2nd time. But then again, for some reason it didnt subtract the coins either time I purchased it. So I now have 2900 coins

I can report that this no longer works.

I did get the 900 points, and added GTA and got the extra 2,000 points, but but once I deleted it and tried to buy it again, I got docked 699 points instead of getting the 2,000 bonus.

I tried this twice, on my phone and computer, so lost 1398 points buying it bringing me down to 803 coins. Hey, I’ll take that – better than zero!

Second order has now completed, but bonus miles did not post for it. I now have 1502 coins having spent 699 on a second copy.

My phone doesn’t allow me to download grand theft auto… Any other options?

I think this is dead. Not getting any more credits for buying the free apps or GTA.

When I tried @Daniel’s idea and deleted GTA so that I could repurchase, Amazon accepted the repurchase and deducted the coins 699 coins plus tax but didn’t credit me the next 2,000 or replace the app in my account. 🙁 Proceed with caution.

amazon is debiting my account for the purchases, but not crediting the 2k coins

@Daniel: Someone must have figured it out. I deleted GTA and then repurchased it. This is the receipt Amazon sent me:

Promotions: -0 Coins
Tax Collected: 62 Coins
Grand Total: 761 Coins

So it cost me the coins plus they didn’t even put it back in my app list.

After I bought GTA I went down to zero. I waited 20 minutes and all the points apeared including the credit for GTA.
