Most no contract phones that you can buy a plan for a month at a time which are sold at stores like best buy, walmart, target etc are just as hard to unlock as full contract phones. The providers like boost are able to sell them for so cheap, because you are basically forced to use them. I found this out when looking into unlocked smart phones. The t-mobile and at&t no contract phones cannot be unlocked for a certain amount of time. I have not verified that this is the case with boost, but I suspect that it is. If you want an unlocked smart phone, your best bet is Amazon or ebay where they sell unlocked smart phones from other countries (I actually just bought one today for $150).

I forgot to mention that I believe that trac and go phones where you pay per minute are generally unlocked.

K, the gc ships free, but the rep I spoke to said they send it via email. What you can do if there are none available for pickup in your area, order it for store pickup in another area, and then call the store and tell them you arent able to pick it up, and ask them to ship it. Any items over 35 dollars ship free-andd you payed 50 for this.

It is a Sprint phone working with Boost (which is owned by Sprint). So it is only good for that mobile service. Sprint does not support GSM (so I don’t think there is a SIM card, unless it is secondary to CDMA)

Basically besy buy is giving a $50 gift card on any Samsung galaxy phone even verizon or at&t phone you buy there. This was the only prepaid that was for $50 so it ends up free. There is another prepaid samsung galaxy for trackfone for $79 with the $50 g.c. its $30
