Turkish is a perfectly safe airline and thousands of religious Jews have taken their flights without issues. They are also a very good airline that still gives 2 free bags and they have an awesome Star Alliance lounge in Istanbul. You can view pictures from the grand opening of the stunning newly expanded Turkish lounge on DDF. Their Premium Economy comfort class product has rave reviews, so if you have the chance to upgrade to that at the gate on the cheap you should definitely go for it.
Note that these deeply discounted Turkish fares do not earn miles on partner airlines. But they do earn miles in Turkish’s own Star Alliance program.

I’m coming up with $1600+ in November….any suggestions
Just bought one for succos time for 800 dollars!
To me it is shameful that Jews fly this airline just to save money. Putting money in Turkey’s pockets with its now anti-Israel policy.
@ED. When u are flying to isreal it dosent matter. Look @ your pocket. If not u don’t have to fly with turkish
@Jay: that’s a dumb thing to say
@Jay. Your a moron.
@Ed: I’d fly emirates or any airline if it gave me dirt cheap rates to the Middle East then you can fly from Dubai (or whichever Mid east country) to Amman and take a taxi to the Allenby Bridge and the hop on a sheurut from the bridge and you’ll be at the Old City. Who cares which airline you fly?
We took Turkish last week and they were fantasic. We have flown to Israel many times and I think this was our best experience – kosher meals were good, staff was nice, and seats had lots of leg room.
Thanx a million! @dan i got it for the whole family!
i am looking to fly to isreal in July, i see that the cheepest is to go with Ukraine International Airlines,
anyone had exprience flying with them?
or do you have a suggestion for a better option?
Is there a way to buy this ticket for a student who plans on being in israel for a year? Can I purchase it and then change the return date?
@Anonymous:
