@Dan
Doesn’t add to cart. I give up.
Out of stock
@Dan
Things like this should be left on the forums where the few faithful might slip through the mistake deal cracks in Samsung’s empire.
Now there’s a 100% chance they cancel when they get 1000 orders!

Genuine question for you Dan (out of my ignorance) – why do you think it is ok to buy things when it is a clear price mistake? I understand your reasoning with regard to plane tickets, as there is no market value and therefore no issue of ona’ah. But there is a clear market value for this type of product. So why isn’t it ona’ah to purchase this type of thing? Again, I don’t want to sound antagonistic, I’m genuinely interested in your answer.
@rangersin4: +100
@chaim:…or sometimes they will give something else instead… like a GC.
Let us know if you actually get it…
Just curious, did anybody manage to get an order in?
How do you find out about this stuff!????
I ordered 10 and my credit card has been charged. We shall see.
@genuine question: Same reason you stay on this site using a bogus name to find mistake deals for yourself. Your just upset because you missed out on that luggage deal right?
I missed it, but my father got one and my sister got 2. We’ll see if they come…
@genuine question: what do you mean there is no market value? Do you mean that that there is no resale value? Because thats not the same thing.
we ordered and got confirmations already i hope they sent them

@Incendia I was generally referring to Dan’s opinion expressed in this piece: http://tinyurl.com/n7cpk9s
@Incendia: What he is saying is Dan is knowingly helping us to commit theft. Mr. righteous is questioning this process according to Jewish Law under a bogus name . But goes on to state its ok to do airline tickets because he probably used a few deals himself. And you wonder why we have global warming?
@genuine question: its called ta’us akum
@genuine question:
What Dan says that there is no SET market value not that there is no market value.
Very few items have a set market value. This tablet sells on the Amazon market place for as high as $1697.61* and for low as $987.04 a differences of over $700
Hi dan amazon has a promo today send a gift card 50 dollars get 10 dollars back . Please post it.
@genuine answer:
1) your name is no less bogus
2)ona’ah is not theft its a form of deception
3)Not quite sure what global warming has to with it
Dan is a Jew that cares about his religion, If someone has an issue with what he does he should first speak to a rabbi and find out if there is a issue and then speak to dan privately. It should not be discussed publicly and especially on his very own website.
@incendia: yes, your formulation of “no set market price” is more correct.
Interesting. So does that mean that on a’ah basically never applies anymore? I can’t think of anything that has a single set market price.
Who says there is any issue of ona’ah with regard to an akum?
Does Taus Akum apply even when one causes the mistake or is it only post facto?
@Why question Dan publicly?
Because this is what the web is, things get done publicly and discussed publicly. It is unreasonable to do something publicly and prevent people from commenting. One goes to a Rabbi privately when things are contained.
@genuine answer
On your choice to bring out the anonymity of @genuine question, I find this line of critique to be boorish and coming from a source of ignorance and inability to make elegant and acceptable arguments. Cut to the chase and bring out what is wrong with the point without slandering the commentator.
I tried ordering 20 of them but it didn’t accept my credit card, so I called samsung and they said it was a mistake. After that when I tried again it said the regular price. Anyone think I can get them to fill my order if I call up to complain?
@genuine question
The website is blocked so I don’t know what Dan’s comment is. I do think that since the vendor has the option to honor or cancel the order there is no issue of on’aha. The pressure to the vendor to honor unpleasant deals for PR reasons is not on’aha. Hundreds of deals are made with pressure every day in every market. Are we going to sanitize the world to the point where a child can conduct business?
anyone who bought multiple interested in selling if they ship?
@grooveyduvey
Now that is something that perhaps should be contained, although I agree with your point
From a legal perspective, the seller is NOT required to perform (i.e., sell the product at the stated price). An obvious unilateral mistake is voidable by the adverse party. Hence, when a buyer accepts an offer that was clearly a mistake, the acceptance is a mere gesture. The seller is not compelled nor pressured to do anything from a pure legal point of view. The fact that the seller may feel pressure from a PR or customer relations perspective is the fault of the seller not the buyer.
@Tried ordering 20: 1. Don’t call.
Don’t talk to the airline or companies offering a deal while the deal is live. You can always ask questions once the deal is gone.
@Tried ordering 20:
lol you are just pretending, a cholent stirrer, a satirist, yes?
@genuine question:
That would involve some deep thought on what on’aha really is and how it applies in different situations.
dan is a robbinhood, as long as he gets more hits, he will post anything!
@mike:
Interesting perspectives and points, I with my almighty kop never even thought about. Nice to see some folks can carry on an actual intelligent discussion in the comments and make some coherent points without all the Jerry Springer stuff.
@Tried ordering 20: next time dont call the company when they make a mistake if yes you r 99% guaranteed not to be honored
@<a @Levi: if and when you do get them may I buy one of of you?=”http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/41899/comment-page-1#comment-573398″>Levi:
@Danny: I will throw them all out. I am an Apple man. Less Samsung on the street the better 😛
@Levi:
Hi. I know you got 10 tablet I am really happy for you. Can you spear one. I’ll pay you 20
@Levi: If anyone got more than one and they want to sell, please let me know
Yet another nauseating display of how low Dan and all of his ignorant, sleazy, cheating, follower’s will go.
Vomitus!
@levi, what is your email? I got more than one (assuming it will be honored) and will sell it.
@genuine question: dont come on dans site and ask that. The mere fact that you even looked at the deal means that you would have bought it given the chance. Dont be a hypocrite. Also besides the fact that buying it is completely mutar beacuse of taaus akum, are you telling me that you are machmir in every halachah ?? especially those that are lchatchilla mutar ??
@genuine question:
Just spoke with a Rabbi at halacha hotline.
1) Onaah does not apply here at all.
2) Al pi Din, since here they recognize the price mistake before shipping and may choose not to honor, by honoring the price they are consciously being mochel any mistakes and sali is valid.
3) For hashkafa ask your personal rabbi whether to do this or not.
4) Other situations where they do not recognize the mistake before final sale of merchandise may be different.
@Tried ordering 20: -100
my orderes have still not been cancelled i even got an email for one order saying my item is on back order anyone else who ordered and hasnt been cancelled?
Lol
@Leah: all I got was an order confirmation and I was charged. I am not counting on the order going through. Samsung website has clear disclaimers about pricing errors.
@Michael: my email is jng11387@gmail.com
