Best headphones I’ve ever bought… Most comfortable for wearing long periods…great battery life!
If you can afford extra $50 or so, go for the QC 20s ..unbelievable
THe qc20s are earbuds!!!Lets compare oranges with oranges NEWGUY!
Anyone ever return something to them after buying it? If so, how was the process?
Dan, is that you http://www.androidcentral.com/users/dan1431
@Dave:
No, believe it or not Dan is a fairly common name 😉
@Nechemia:
Point is the earbuds are way lighter, especially for prolonged usage such as New York to beijing. And noise cancelling is at least as good as the on the ear model Nechy
@Josh:
I think which is the most comfortable between on the on-air QC3, overear QC15, and in-ear QC20 is going to be very YMMV.
Go to a Bose store and see for yourself. Personally I’m in the QC15 camp but it’s totally a personal decision.
But as far as deals go, this is an excellent price for the QC3 while the other 2 are not on sale.
@Dan: @Josh: @Nechemia: @Ari Chi Town: guys, I bought the 15s and granted they were amazing but couldn’t lay down with them comfortably so I checked out the 20s which by the way are brand new technology. They cost even more actually cuz they do the same crazy cool noise reduction but in a more compact design, PLUS they have the extra plus of “city walk mode” which basically shuts out everything except for honking. Pretty cool. Now I’m satisfied totally. Definitely worth the extra bucks. And yes, the exchange and return policy went super smooth no questions asked.
Bottom line, yes, YMMV, but I’d go with the newer cooler 20s. Good luck!
And personally I have no problem sleeping with the 15s.
And I don’t care for earbuds for extended periods of time at all.
Bottom line is YMMV, period.
3 people can each want a different one for perfectly valid reasons.
Go to a Bose store and try em on to decide.
@Dan: side question: why are these never on sale but beats always are? Are they better quality?
Any married men’s wives have a problem with you sleeping with your headphone sets?
@Thenewguy: Beats is fad Bose is brand. Bose protects its consumer base and market share while say Beats exploits the market till they no longer have one. Kids buy Dr Dre to be cool. Adults buy Bose for investment in great products that last long.
@Dan:
Dan,
As far as the deal goes, you are correct. As far as comfort and performance goes you should try the new earbud ones. You don’t get sweaty ears after wearing them for 14 hours and you can sleep with them on and you don’t even know they’re there!
No longer available.
Truth I agree with Dan ..I can’t sleep with ear buds,NIR can I wear them for long periods! On top of that,I don’t think there’s any ear buds in the world worth 300bucks,they take so much abuse,giw many times have ear buds come flying out your ears after getting the wire wrapped around a door nob?
Qc3 or 15 much better value!
Not available anymore, it says.
@Mike: my wife actually bought them for me! 😉 I just am careful when I can or cannot wear them
Update: Dead
@Thenewguy: Lol me too!
I have a few brand-new QC15s shrink-wrapped that I’d sell for $230 each, just drop me an email at hansmast at gmail dot com
