Bank branded lounges have become a required perk for high-end credit cards. AMEX started their own lounge network when American, Continental, and USAirways stopped allowing Platinum cardholders to access their lounges. Other banks are now trying to catch up with them.

Chase opened their 5th full service domestic club today for Chase Sapphire Reserve® Cardholders, with the opening of the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club in Phoenix.

That’s in addition to access to access to the Air Canada lounge network.

The new lounge comes after the opening of a Sapphire Lounge in Boston, JFK, LaGuardia, Hong Kong, Washington DC/IAD, and a Sapphire Terrace in Austin.

The 6th full-service domestic Sapphire Lounge will open in San Diego on December 6th.

Other upcoming lounges include Philadelphia, opening early 2025 in the Terminal D to E Connector, and Las Vegas, opening in Mid-2025 in Concourse C. A lounge is also being planned at Los Angeles Airport’s TBIT near gate 148.

Alas, the Chase Sapphire Terrace in Austin will be closing in spring 2025.

The Phoenix lounge is located in Terminal 4, South 1 (S1) Concourse and is open daily from 4:30am-10:30pm.

The lounge features panoramic tarmac views and a centerpiece bar with craft cocktails. Specialty locally roasted coffee drinks will be available from Press Coffee.

The San Diego lounge will be located in Terminal 2 offering a wellness area with bookable private rest pods, on-demand digital meditations and facial treatments from Face Haus. Coffee selections will be available from California’s Groundwork Coffee.

On November 16, Las Vegas’ ARIA Resort & Casino will also host a special limited-time lounge pop-up experience for Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers, with specialty food and cocktails for cardholders.
