You can get a 20% bonus for transfers from Capital One to BA Avios. You can also transfer BA Avios to Iberia Avios, Aer Lingus Avios, Finnair Avios, or Qatar Avios, where you can redeem awards for fewer miles. You can combine Avios via this link via the BA site.

With this bonus, 1,000 Capital One Miles transfers into 1,200 Avios. This promotion runs through 12/1 at 11:59pm ET.

Avios aren’t what they used to be. British Airways seems to devalue them every few months, bringing them from first to worst in no time.

You can also save with the Qatar award chart or the Finnair award chart, which is the only Avios program that doesn’t charge per leg flown, though both Qatar and Finnair recently devalued their Avios.
