Thanks for this. Having experienced a bag of brown with insect growth I now do this always, and fwiw, I now always store it in the refrigerator rather than a pantry.
I ordered the Brown Long Grain Rice. It arrived infested with worms. Live worms were inside the bag of rice and on the other subscription items that arrived in the same package. I was able to wash off some items and had to discard the rice and two other items. Amazon refunded what I had to discard.
That is disgusting!
