JetBlue founder David Neeleman’s Breeze Airways is continuing its rapid growth in previously underserved markets.
With the latest expansion, the airline will serve Newark, Daytona Beach, South Bend, Erie, PA, and Wilmington, NC. The new additions result in Breeze now serving 64 cities across 30 states on more than 200 nonstop routes.
In the coming months, the airline will fly an all A220 fleet. You can find a list of routes served here.
I recently flew Breeze in first class and was blown away by the experience. I hope to write about that in the future.
The airline’s spacious A220s feature first class seats, called “Nicest” seating, in a two-by-two configuration at the front of the plane, “Nicer” extra legroom seats, and “Nice” seats in a two-by-three seat configuration, which means fewer middle seats than on other airlines. First class seats feature a whopping 39″ of seat pitch and 20.5″ wide seats and a footrest.
Family seating is free on all fares.
Breeze flights can be canceled up to 15 minutes before departure at no charge, with the funds valid for 2 years.
You can download the Breeze app for iOS or Android, signup for an account, and instantly get 500 BreezePoints, worth $5 for airfare.

Of course, as with airlines like Allegiant, Frontier, and Spirit, you can save even more by purchasing flights at the airport. Officially that’s only available on Tuesdays between 11am-1pm, though some readers have said that it also works on other days.
How much will you save?
Just click on “taxes and carrier fees” on that same checkout page. The carrier fee will be waived if you buy the flight at the airport, but that fee can vary by a lot, based on the route and date. I have seen them range from $10 to $90 on Breeze.
Unfortunately, based on the promo code’s terms, it’s only redeemable online and not at the airport. But if any readers happen to be at an airport, let us know if an agent there can somehow use the promo code with the airport discount!

Why a stop ewr to Orlando?
Why not?
It is the same plane going from Newark to Charleston and then continues to Orlando. No plane switch.
Breeze Airlines, the airline for Shluchim.
They go to the most far out places, some you’ve never even heard of!!!
Except the Shluchim want a connection from their far-out places to NY, and their 2x a week flight to New York won’t do much for that.
Where is the stop on the EWR – MCO route? Is it to refuel? They just go to the gate and then take off again? Any idea how long this takes?
It is the same plane going from Newark to Charleston and then continues to Orlando. No plane switch.
Here’s how One stop/no change of plane BreezeThru service works.
Single Aircraft Operation: BreezeThru flights involve a single aircraft operating on a route with a stopover.
Seamless Boarding: Passengers board the plane at their original airport and continue to their final destination without changing planes.
Brief Stopover: The stopover is typically brief (around 30 minutes).
EWR>MCO Direct 3h
EWR>CRW>MCO BreezeThru 4h 26m
Similar Timing as regular a short 40-50 Minutes stop with a plane change, however more convent as you can stay on same plan for second leg,
i guess it’s also a saving for Breeze…as no need to check-in/board again for second leg
Dan no way to get them to implement a nonstop EWR-Southern CA and EWR to South Florida?
Do we know what time the two routes from HPN to Florida are going to be?
Ok I was able to find it online.
The problem with Breeze is the are not so Business-friendly as you usually cant fly in and out in the same day or next day with breeze.
