Under 1 cent per point is a terrible use of points.
No, it’s not.
Hilton sells points often for 0.5 cents each, so anything above that mark is fine as you can replenish.
Book 2 nights for a friend. Make sure you call the site directly after booking with Hilton to check the reservation. They claim since it is new there are glitches. The site never had the reservation. Hilton was very little help. Just kept telling me the reservation was in my account. The site was extremely helpful and after many calls with Hilton the manager at the site took care of it.
