Thanks Dan!
Possible to transfer Amex points to Citi? Someway through an authorized user I see on Google?
No
If Booking for within sale date range before 6/30 and then changing dates to July, will price stay same +Chainging fees?
Thanks Dan!!
booked this week LHR-JFK and paid 57500 points, Canceled and Rebooked now same flight for 28750
Do I have to cancel and rebook ? Or can I have an agent just rebook the same booking with the new price?
On chat they told me I have to cancel and rebook, they deducted 30 pounds from the refund for the cancelation, You get the miles back on the spot and you can rebook
If already booked a flight is it possible to rebook the same booking for the reduced pricing and save my seats? or do I have to cancel the original booking and rebook?
You’ll probably have to cancel, but try your luck
Did call them and after holding for about 30 minutes I was advised that it needs to be canceled which to their credit they did it all including keeping the same seat on the new booking.
For next time, you select upper class on their phone menu to save those 30 minutes
Didn’t have to pay cancellation fee ?
How do you check availability?
Prices are back to regular prices now
The actual flight date that the 50% begins seems to be Apr 16
For young adults and kids they don’t charge the “United Kingdom – Air Passenger Duty (APD) (GB) GBP 88.00”, which makes the flights out of the UK a little cheaper.
Seems they’ve disabled Virgin’s point calendar for searching Delta flights except for the UK departure sites (i.e. swapping LHR for AMS or FRA when searching Delta flights just yields an error). Have you guys had any success lately getting it to work?
