1:1 i believe, I just doublechecked and the bonus is actually 25%. Most hotel and car rental points can be converted to United MileagePlus miles with a 25% bonus (maximum 20k bonus) expires November 30.

After booking a rental, discount does no appear to be reflected in estimated total, but instead the reservation states “Promotional Coupon; : 83.73 USD
will be applied at time of rental”. I’m confused as to whether my total will be the estimated amount, or the estimated amount less the discount.

Nope sorry, the transfer ratios are generally not 1:1, you have to check individual partners.
