You can check to see if you’re targeted for a transfer bonus by logging in via the link above and seeing if you have a bonus offer for Singapore:
This offer expires 12/31.
Note that Singapore miles expire 36 months after they are earned, regardless of activity.
Singapore is my favorite airline in the world, with unparalleled service in every cabin.
The best use of Singapore miles is in business, first, and suites class on Singapore flights. There are no fuel surcharges.
Sadly, the airline no longer flies the A380 to the US, so there are no suites routes to/from the US. The A380 can be found on routes between Singapore and cities like Auckland, Delhi, Hong Kong, London, Melbourne, Mumbai, Shanghai, Sydney, and Tokyo.
You can find the Singapore award chart here and Singapore’s Star Alliance award chart here.
A one-way saver award from JFK to Frankfurt is 81K Singapore miles (67.5K AMEX points) in business class or 97K Singapore miles (80.8K AMEX points) in first class.
It’s worth noting that Air Canada can book JFK to Frankfurt for just 60K miles in business class, though first class is only bookable with Singapore miles.
A one-way flight from JFK to Singapore on the longest flight in the world in business class runs 111.5K Singapore miles (92.9K AMEX points). This isn’t bookable with Air Canada miles.
Are you targeted for this offer? Will you be transferring miles?
