When I choose this I see $549.99 without the Dell coupon, with it its $495. How did you get $377.99? Am I doing something wrong?
if you take the i7 with 16 gb and 1tb ssd it comes down to 529$

The Core i3 8GB 512 SSD is $279 before the Coupon, also a great deal.

Oh yes now I see it switched it to i3 when I clicked on 512. So what’s a better deal and better machine – i3 with 8gb and 512 ssd for $279 or i5 with 256 ssd for $329. I have Amex plat $200 credit plus 10% email offer.
i5 is a slightly better processor, but for just regular computing and more storage for a cheaper price that’s a better deal.
And if you need more than just regular casual use I would get better than that i5. So if the debate is between the two in my opinion I would go for the i3 deal.

What specs?
That has a AMD Ryzen™ 5 7530U 6-core/12-thread Processor, which is similar to this i5 and may be better overall though the i5 has more cores.
So if the the 512 SSD and Backlit Keyboard are worth the difference to you, then yes.
Other key points on the Inspiron 16 is the 16 inch display, the aluminum exterior and the foldable feature which hopefully the hinges don’t crack like a lot of the Inspiron 16s.
I cannot see any of the Dell laptop deals on the AMEX website. I have Amex Gold.
