Is this a good deal or a great deal?
Dell onsite warranty is top notch.
Echh..no floppy drive!
There is a $100 coupon off optiplex.
72H74DB3C9MPF$
Got this yesterday without the monitor for $429.
How do I drop the monitor?
does the $100 coupon negate the $50 credit since it is no longer a purchase of $599?
Dan, you won’t get the extra $50 back from Amex as the final post-coupon price is less than $599. ($570 is a good price anyway.)
Or you could spend the extra $29 on something and get the $50.
How many cards can you sync? I need 2 computers
if u need a used one with floppy, I have one for you!
@milechazzer:
You can call them afterward to drop the monitor though I’m not sure hat that will do to the $50 credit.
@yoko:
With sales tax you should be at $599+.
If not just add something small to the config.
@yoko:
Open another Twitter account and sync it with another card.
can I sync a platinum amex?
I am looking for a desktop to use full time. is this something to grab or there are plenty other computers that are just as good
Hello,
Can you also sync for the Staples offer (25 off 75)?
I see that they don’t give you the option to modify the specs on this much (like the hard drive or multiple CD drives). Is there something unique about the pricing on this particular system, that I wouldn’t get if just select an OptiPlex 3010 and customize its specs?
Does the Amex SPG business card get the same warranty as the personals?
@Mark:
Of course.
@leeboy:
This looks very good to me.
@BB:
I don’t know the code for that.
@milechazzer:
Seems like this one specifically is quite a good deal.
@E:
Yes.
@milechazzer: Just let go of it.
Hi,
Can I get statement credit for a 2nd authorized users card that I sync with twitter, or just on the main card?
Thanks
@Tzvi:
You can, but it would need to be on its own Twitter account.
Thanks Dan for the quick response.
It’s crazy how sales tax ends up being $50!!!
Sorry one more question, does the twitter account name have to match the name on the card?
@Tzvi:
If you would only add up all the various taxes we pay…
@Tzvi:
Nope.
Seems you could upgrade the Security Software to Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security Services, 15 Month, without any additional cost.
am ready to buy now.
can anyone confirm if paying with a amex costco card receive the same extended warranty?
Dell doesn’t seem to be adding monitor?
Anyone have any suggestions?
@Dan Ya but it doesn’t make it easier and thanks.
@MOSHE Tzvi I received a monitor for each of my orders.
@rg:
It does.
@MOSHE TZVI:
Does for me.
The American Express offer of $50 off $599 can also appear on the offers page when you log in to their site. Check there if you don’t tweet.
so is the $599 limit before or after coupon codes and/or discounts?
To get Amex extended warranty will the card I use still need to be active at time of claim?
I usually cancel my SPG or Gold cards at end of 1st year to avoid annual fee.
@hennie:
$599 has to go on your card.
@BrooklynDan:
As long as you have any active AMEX you’re covered.
payment comes through as two seperate charges, one for PC and one for monitor. Combined total for me was just over $600 and I got the mail. Wonder if I will get the cashback…
they raised the price to $1,301.41???
@si:
Worst case if you email AMEX your order confirmation to get manually credited.
@nu:
Showing $670 for me.
hehe never mind!
if i pay with mastercard will the price still be the same?
I just used another promo code 9QB025WNJ3X$MJ. I got price down from $570 to $553.
72H74DB3C9MPF$ doesnt work
Seems the instant discount is not as steep anymore. Agent says the 72H74DB3C9MPF$ needs to be used with the Dell Member Purchase program…on the phone. Anyone else having trouble with this too?
I am trying to order this computer now, but it is not adding the monitor. Is this deal dead??!
Just got off the phone. With dell small business. This system has never included a monitor of any kind for the $670 configuration promotional code or not
The dell E2414H monitor that came with this computer and was charged from dell separately at $169+ tax, best buy has this screen on sale for black Friday at $99.99

If you used a credit card like amex platinum or lots of others that will match price drops within 30-90 days of purchase, you can get a nice credit here.
if you need a pdf of BB deal, just ask.
