Anyone actually use one?

.

It is imo the best machine for threading the needle between top quality coffee and the convenience of a quick system before leaving home in the morning. Its faster than a nespresso or keurig with the benefit that it tastes better than starbucks. Its not as customizable as a non fully auto machine but that just saves you time.

I have the 5400 and love it! I have it for about 3 years now.

My only complaint about it, is I hate that when it’s out of water in the middle of a cup it doesn’t beep to let you know, it only shows on the screen and the time you have to fill the water isn’t a lot of time in order to allow resume so many times it cancels the cup and then I don’t know how much coffee is actually in the cup. If it would beep if know right away something is wrong and take care of it immediately and then I can hit the resume button. When I start the cup I’m not watching it the whole time and come back a few minutes later to find out it’s messed up, yes, it only takes a minute to brew but still, it happens more frequently than I’d like where I’m left with an unknown amount of espresso in my latte, adding another shot of espresso sometimes is too much and sometimes it’s not enough, I usually use Latte setting with “extra shot” so I don’t know if stopped on first or second shot. “Extra shot”, (4) profiles, Milk Froth only, and screen + more intuitive UI is what sets the 5400 apart from the 3200.

I tried both of them, go with the cheaper 2200, its much better. Recommended! The ability to customize the milk froth makes it come out much better!

Actually had the 2200 did not like it. I hope I would like this one better as there’s more options for the coffee and froth
Hope and see thanks Dan as I also got the Amex $60 off on top of great price

Can any parts be toiveled? How does that work?

There are those who are of the opinion that if it would break if it got wet you can use it as is

Moshe

We have the 3200 without the latte go and it’s a great balance between solid coffee/espresso whole being fast, no clean up and MUCH cheaper than the Nespresso pods we had before.
