what is the cancellation fee?
Added to post.
Can the code be used on more than one reservation? And does this effectively make the earlier 50% code (https://www.dansdeals.com/points-travel/airlines/southwest/southwest-fly-one-round-trip-get-50-off-next-flight/ ) irrelevant?
Yes.
This offer has more restrictions and blackouts than that offer.
Thanks!
Thanks Dan! Just booked
Thanks for this. Got 2600 miles refunded.
However, I found that I don’t need to cancel and rebook. It allowed me to change the flight and didn’t asked for the code, but showed the reduced milage. I compared with new booking cost and they were exact same.
I was trying to book a flight from Maryland to Florida from 12/24-12/31 but it looks like those are somehow blocked (even when adjusting to 12/25 or other airports). Alternatively, I was thinking of transferring chase points to southwest since that looks like the cheapest way to go anyway. What are your thoughts on transferring those point (i havent done that before)
If the value is good for the flights you want, that transfer can make sense.
Inter island hawaii flights not allowed.
https://www.southwest.com/ has been crashing. Page looks with an oops error.
In the past when I canceled, I got a full refund. Now it’s only giving me credit. It’s also giving me credit for just changing the flight (even to the same flight), so I’m just going to change the flight to my existing flight.
It has been extended through tomorrow. https://www.southwest.com/html/sites/mobile/promotions/nationwide_sale_NonstopConnect_230926.html?
Anything from Miami to NYC after Succos.
Scored some $87 tickets x5 each way BWI-> LAX for winter break. Moved my chase points over to SWA, giving them a value of just over 1.55 cents per dollar (which IME is never that high-value!). Plus, because I had a credit from another trip that I rebooked to get this sale, it brought the overall price down even more.
Shkoyach!
