Is there something special about this system? I looked on ebay and you can get systems there for about $220-$250 with 2 remots and games and they are new in box.
Are you looking at completed auctions?
I dont think any new Wii with that config from a reputable seller would sell for those prices!
here is one I was looking at its at $250 with 30 minutes left. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-NINTENDO-Wii-CONSOLE-SYSTEM-2-CONTROLLERS-5-GAMES_W0QQitemZ170204714156QQihZ007QQcategoryZ62054QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
it has 5 games and 2 controllers
?:
You’ve lobbed a softball my way!
1. You can’t judge prices based on 30 minutes left! As you can see it ended up selling for $356 including shipping! (and its even more than that if you want shipping insurance)
2. Amazon=free shipping and guaranteed support if there’s a problem.
Ebay=Exorbitant shipping prices and no support at all if there’s a problem.
3. Those “5 free games” that are listed in the auction are the exact same 5 Wii Sports games that come for free with every Wii!
4. The bonus game “Super Mario Galaxy” is only included if the bid was over $400. It wasn’t and therefore the buyer wont get it.
So in summary the buyer paid over $100 more than he would’ve paid if he bought it with this deal, and he won’t have any support if there’s a problem with shipping or the console itself.
Thank you! point well made. Keep up the great work.
No problem, of course you should now see the flip side: Buy the Wii for $250 next time it comes up and sell ’em for $350!
Dan, did you buy one for me?
dan if i send you money IN ADVANCE will you buy when in stock
Dan i just bought on on craigslist.org, i paid $295 not so bad just about $20 more
$295 is $20 more than what?
more then buying it in walmart with sales tax
Why do they always sell out so quickly? Amazon knows their in demand so why don’t they just stock them up? Just wondering
