David Neeleman’s Breeze Airways is continuing its rapid growth in previously underserved markets. The airline is losing gobs of money for now, but so did JetBlue when he founded it (and so did every other airline that was bailed out during bankruptcies earlier this century and again during COVID). Hopefully they’ll find their niche and provide much needed competition!
The airline’s typical A220s features 36 first class seats, called “Nicest” seating, in a two-by-two configuration at the front of the plane. It has 10 “Nicer” extra legroom seats and 80 “Nice” seats in a two-by-three seat configuration. First class seats will feature a whopping 39″ of seat pitch and 20.5″ wide seats and a footrest.
Family seating is free on all fares.
Breeze flights can be cancelled up to 15 minutes before departure at no charge, with the funds valid for 2 years.
You can download the Breeze app for iOS or Android, signup for an account, and instantly get 500 BreezePoints, worth $5 for airfare.
Plus, you can save $50 on round-trip flights with code: EZ50
- Promotion must be purchased at flybreeze.com from August 15, 2023, through August 17, 2023 (11:59 pm ET)
- Travel from September 5, 2023, through December 19, 2023.
- Promotion excludes travel from November 16, 2023, through November 28, 2023.
You can enter the promo code at the end of the checkout process:
As with airlines like Allegiant, Frontier, and Spirit, you can save even more by purchasing flights at the airport. Officially that’s only available on Tuesday, though readers have said that it also works on other days.
How much will you save?
Just click on “taxes and carrier fees” on that same checkout page. The $60 carrier fee will be waived if you buy the flight at the airport:
Unfortunately, based on the promo code’s terms, it’s only redeemable online and not at the airport. But if any readers happen to be at an airport, let us know if an agent there can somehow use the $50 discount code with the airport discount!

Not sure I agree on the “rapid growth in underserved markets.” They bailed out of their HPN-LAS route before it even started flying and have since abandoned the HPN-LAX route as well.
They flew the HPN-LAS route for about a month, but yes your point is there. They bailed on the HPN-SFO route before it started flying.
Agreed. I flew the LAX to HPN route twice and was very pleased.
Sucks they cancelled the route and seems like most HPN flights.
I’ve heard HPN is a difficult airport to work with.
I hope one day there is direct flights from LAX or BUR to HPN.
That’s because HPN made them ridiculous problems with slot issues that caused them to need to have extra crew.
One of the hardest airports to deal with in the country.
I wrote about that here:

What a crying shame, because from the passenger side (like most smaller airports) it’s a mechaye! And getting there from Monsey is a breeze!
Write to your politicians!
I have not flown them yet. So far, I haven’t had the need to fly from Huntsville, Alabama to Fayetteville, Arkansas, or Provo, Utah to Oklahoma City. One day….
lol
is there any options from ny area to california nonstop?
no
I have flown Breeze from Akron/Canton to PBI.
Nice small airports with comfortable seats and flights. We have had quite a few delays but we’re warned in advance so didn’t go to the airport until closer to right time. It is hard to reach anyone to solve anything. I tried to but tickets at the counter on other days and was told to come on Tuesday. Not useful as it is far and they never fly from there on Tuesdays.
Anyone need a fight from Chattanooga to Kalamazoo?
Is Trenton a possibility? seems to fit their small underutilized cities?
Charleston to Charleston is an awesome route!
I feel like Breeze is a ticket to ride game.
Tried yesterday from HPN to NOR and nothing available.
Is there a reason they are staying away from Michigan?
Yes. Because Rashida Tlaib was somehow elected there by moronic voters.
