SodaStream Jet Plus $10 Walmart Gift Card

Just pick the color of your choice and add it to the bundle.

The sale is $79 for the SodaStream Jet Kit and a $10 Walmart gift card to use on future purchases.

Plus you can save an additional $15 automatically by using your registered AMEX and following the instructions in this post.

That drops the price you pay for the Sodastream and for a $10 Walmart gift card down to just $64.

You can use the Walmart eGift card in stores or online and it never expires.

I have a sodastream and it is awesome. No more shlepping cases of seltzer home from the store, I can make it in a few seconds from the comfort of my home for a small fraction of the cost of seltzer from a store.
Best of all I can control exactly how fizzy I want my seltzer, you can make it as weak or as strong as you’d like!

The included Co2 canister makes 60 1L bottles of seltzer (or way more than that if you don’t put in as much fizz.) You can exchange the canisters at tons of stores nationwide. Bed Bath and Beyond charges $12 for a refill with one of their ubiquitous 20% off coupons or $10 with a $5 off $15 coupon.

Amex deal isn’t working anymore….”Sorry, max # of cardmembers have enrolled in #AmexWalmart Offer”

BTW, I bought a brass paintball adaptor on Ebay (~$25), and a 20oz. co2 paintball tank at walmart (~$25), you now are not tied down to soda stream, have a greater capacity of co2, and it costs about $1.00 to refill co2 tank.

@co2@co2:
can u post a link to those items, i am worried about buying the wrong thing and it blowing up lol

Please post links! I’m just about done emptying my original CO2 that came with the kit.

Looking around, I found a clip of how to refill the carbonator with dry ice. I may prefer to do that instead of co2 from a paintball supply since I read a post that claimed there are oil-based lubricants in the co2 for paintball guns.

I bought the SodaStream “Fizz”, when it was promoted on this site, a couple months ago – no regrets !!!

I was also concerned with the high expense of the refill cartridges, so I did some poking around on the internet for some alternatives.

This guy sells an adapter kit for the SodaStream.

I was hesitant to spring for the hundred bucks (for the kit with a 72-inch hose), but I am now very glad that I did it.

Just go for it – you will soon forget about the high upfront cost of the adapter-kit, whereas the short-cycle small cartridges that SodaStream wants you to buy, will not allow you to forget about the ongoing costs.

Also: While you’re at it – you should purchase a new CO2 tank – You will soon get over the initial cash outlay, as you realize the great savings to be had, by using the SodaStream system:

PS – When I was kid, my folks owned a McDonald’s franchise. They explained to me the fact that the hamburgers were just the bait, and that the real profits were made on the french fries and the sodas. (In fact, the wholesale cost of the cups was MORE than the cost of the Coke that they contained) – This should offer a clue to how much you can save by investing about $300 in a complete soda-making system, that will last a lifetime.

Glad you enjoy.

Personally I do the $10 exchange at bed bath and beyond. They last for a couple months for me and that’s fine for my needs.

I bought the BRASS (not plastic, made in China) paintball tank adaptor, similar to this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Sodastream-FreedomOne-PBI-Internal-Paintball-CO2-Tank-Adapter-/130951245720?pt=Bar_Tools_Accessories&hash=item1e7d4d6f98

I bought the paintball tank (20 oz.) from Walmart, in store, empty: http://www.walmart.com/ip/JT-CO2-Tank-20-oz/19765688

@shimmy: Stop by your local welding supply or gas dealer, they will tell you, co2 is co2, there is no lubricant in the cylinder.

One more thing, in order for the tank to fit, you will need to remove the bottom plastic plate in the back of the Sodastream
