I just signed up our kids and they had the miles in their accounts right away!
Now they’ll just need another 479,000 Skypesos to get a one-way business class ticket to Israel. It’s hard to believe that some 14 years we flew Delta business class to Israel for just 45,000 miles each way, before Delta turned them into Skypesos. Talk about inflation!
Luckily, there are still ways to fly business class to Israel for that rate.

I personally have never found business availability on United from Turkish, and even when I want to fly Turkish on business I get the non discounted rate (100k+ miles) plus a fuel surcharge

Delta SkyMiles seems to be reasonable value (1.2-1.5 cents per mile) when flying domestic.
