I’m paying $8 a month for Disney Plus. Looks like it’s time for me to cancel that and get this. Do you know if I need to cancel my account and sign up under a new name, or will I be able to port my current profiles and everything to the Hulu service?
Can anyone explain what is over Disney if it does not have live?

You can work around this but using a cc Apple pay for new sign up (yes I’m prob the only DD user who has ONE cc)
I signed up for regular Hulu on Sunday and they would not honor this offer. Was very simple to cancel and make a new account with a different email address
I have been doing this shtick for a while now… surprised nobody knew about this. However, I am signing up for Hulu $1.99 plan now and am looking into signing up for Disney as well. However, Disney is going up from $79.99 to $109.99 on December 8th.
And….if you s sign up for Hulu and add Disney for $2.99 a month…. What happens if they increase the add-on price in two or three months and you are not guaranteed to be locked in for a year. At which point you will no longer be able to take advantage of the Disney discount on the website
I contacted Hulu through chat and the representative informed me that the add-on price would not be changing anytime soon but that it’s possible it will increase at some Future point but they would need to give you a month’s notice before they change the price. So you are basically taking a chance doing it this way versus going directly to Disney and signing up separately for Hulu
I did the calculations and Hulu Plus Disney equals $4.98 per month. While if you do Disney separately and Hulu separately it comes out to $6.24 per month. The problem is they could increase the Hulu add-on for Disney and you can be paying potentially a lot more for the Disney add-on which would mean that per month you would be paying a lot more for the combination of the two then doing it separately right now

If your an existing hulu user, what worked for me is to create a new account in incognito mode/ private browser. Then cancel the old one. Hope that helps ppl. Just did it successfully

I did this last year. And figured ok cancel and resign up. Did that. Great. However the new offer is for Disney with ads. Last year it was no ads. Now to watch a 6 minute cartoon my kid has to watch 5 minutes of commercials. Not cool. Also now there’s no way for me to get my old plan back. And cheapest sign up for no ads is $20 per month. Before I would have paid 10 per month after the 12 month discount expired in Dec. Super bummed.
