Sounds like would be good for a sukka. Any one can comment on that?
I guess I’ll have to comment on that myself.
I tried it in my sukka this year. I liked that I could adjust the height so that I was able to lower it further away from the schach. It can also be installed on the wall, which I would have done if I had small kids running around and I was afraid they may push over the stand. But for my purposes with just adults around, I felt the stand was quite sturdy enough.
But for actual heating, it kept the person who was it was directly pointing at nice and warm (even when sleeping at night – but keep in mind it was not as cold in New Jersey this year as other years). But it did not spread the warmth over any area at all. Maybe if I had thicker schach it may have retained heat better but hard to know.
