A DDF member noticed last Sunday that AMEX had an odd language change in their updated Platinum card terms about a Skymiles Program benefit ending:
I guessed that it was a typo, but reached out to AMEX for confirmation.
In the meantime, another blog posted an alleged screenshot from a reader that seemed to confirm that AMEX points transfers to Delta were ending, but the screenshot looked doctored to me and I didn’t see that language on any of my accounts.
I asked AMEX again and they confirmed that the screenshot was indeed doctored and that nothing is changing to AMEX points transfers to Delta. The only change is the ending of the Delta Private Jets program, which will now be run by Wheels Up.
In this case, no news is good news. Now, when can we get some Delta transfer bonuses like used to be offered. š
