If you transfer 5,000 Hyatt points you would normally get 2,000 AA miles, but with this promo you would get 2,500 AA miles. I value Hyatt points at about 1.5 cents each and American miles at about 1.25 cents each, so that would be like trading $75 for $31.25.
If you transfer 50,000 Hyatt points you would normally get 25,000 AA miles, but with this promo you would get 31,250 AA miles. I value Hyatt points at about 1.5 cents each and American miles at about 1.25 cents each, so that would be like trading $750 for $390.25.
If you transfer 10,000 IHG points you would normally get 2,000 AA miles, but with this promo you would get 2,500 AA miles. I value IHG points at about 0.45 cents each and American miles at about 1.25 cents each, so that would be like trading $45 for $31.25.
Unless you need a few AA miles to get to an award, these are not worthwhile even with a 25% bonus.
The only hotel transfer that typically can make sense is transferring 60K Marriott points into 25K-27K airline miles. Unfortunately American is not currently offering a bonus for transferring points from Marriott.
Do you transfer hotel points into airline miles?

IHG was a wonderful value at Crowne Jerusalem. Unfortunately Crowne Jerusalem is no longer part of IHG.
