Hydro Flask is offering 25% off and free shipping sitewide!
Dan’s Note:
I’m partial to the 40 ounce Hydro Flask with straw cap, on sale for $41.21 in cart after 25% off.
If you already have a wide mouth Hydro Flask you can also just buy the straw lid for $7.46 with free shipping!
I’m a bit obsessed with Hydro Flask. I love drinking ice cold water and use a Hydro Flask every day without fail.
Similar to the Polar Bear Cooler/Suitcase and Bose QC35 Noise-Cancelling Headphones, it’s also one one of my essential travel items.
I’ve tried other bottles, but nothing else is as leakproof or keeps liquids as cold or as hot as Hydroflask does.
The TSA allows you to bring ice through security, so you can fill it up with ice at home and fill it with water after security so that you’ll have ice cold water. If there’s an airport lounge I’ll fill it up there with ice water and it keeps drinks ice cold for days, even in the hottest of environments.
Hydro Flask will also keep drinks piping hot for a day.
I learned about it from a DDF member who took a job transfer to Hawaii after he raved on his blog about the Hydro Flask. I splurged for one and took it on United’s Island Hopper and have loved it ever since. DDF member Something Fishy bought one on my recommendation and brought it to Cuba and raved about having ice cold water in the sweltering Havana summer sun.
Best of all, Hydro Flask has an amazing lifetime warranty. When my straw cap got moldy after a few years they sent me a new one immediately after I filed a claim, no questions asked.
Do you have a Hydro Flask?

Essential summer item. My wife has one, we bought another one for Pesach, and now I finally caved and bought one. Thanks!
Sadly, free shipping code is invalid
Dan will that 40oz bottle fit in a car cup holder?
It fits in my wife’s Odyssey.
For my model 3 I got an adapter on etsy that does the trick.
So I’ll be safe that it should fit on my Pacifica, I guess
What’s the bottom measurements of it? Wanna check if it will fit in my car
The straight line distance is the diameter. It’s listed on every bottle.
Well, just took some measurements, my cup holder size is 3½” while the 40oz bottle is 3.58″ should I stretch my luck or ain’t gonna fit?
Not sure. Are you feeling lucky? 😀
Can you plz a link for the adapter?
The one I got is no longer available.
But search for Hydroflask Cup Holder Adapter
