Dan: At the top of the rebate form it says the offer is good 8/31-9/3, Does that mean that the purchase has to be within those dates or does the rebate form have to be mailed out by then.

Rebate claims must be entered and documentation postmarked within 30 days of the receipt/invoice date, but no later than 10/03/2012.
Allow 6 – 8 weeks for rebate to be processed.

@123 I can’t say about hp.
I never got one. I had 2 think pads and they were very good. Strong and fast. I just hon a basic ASus also a good company.

@123: I have had multiple HP’s, and they are real solid machines. From what I hear Lenovo gives you better specs at a cheaper price because of their sub par quality. According to a few of my friends that have owned Lenovo’s, anything below a Thinkpad is not that great. And you aint getting a Thinkpad for $350. They are mighty expensive.
