Does anyone know if they tailored fit is equivalent to the fit of the slim-fit on Charles Tyrwhitt?

I have a stays cool shirt, it’s a bargain at this price in my opinion. As far as which is better that’s probably a personal preference thing, but these are wayyyy cheaper than BB with this sale, that’s for sure.

The best part about this store is that they let me purchase items using my Freedom or Sapphire card and if I need to return them in the store they gladly put it on my debit card and it goes right into my checking account. Perfect way to meet a spending hurdle.

A: Tailored Fit shirts are around 2″ smaller in the chest and around 5 1/2″ in the waist. Thank you for your question.

I think the stays cool version is a little see through. So if you wear wool tzitzis with a black stripe it might show through. Just my opinion though.

If i’m not mistaking, the monogramming is $10. I didn’t see anything that indicates its free

about the sizing for jos a bank, i know the regular fit shirts run big and roomy for a slim person so its safe to assume that their tailored fit will be roomier than a charles tyrwhitt and definitely roomier that a paul fredrick trim fit.

These shirts are not comparable to the BB and lands end shirt. Those are “non iron”. These are “wrinkle free”. The similiar shirts to those brands are the J A bank travelers shirts which are a lot more expensive. I have bought both and can tell you first hand. Thanks

I have recently had some bad experiences returning orders to Jos A Bank. They really gave me a hard time even though the stuff was brand new in package with receipt.

I later overheard a conversation among the employees that shed light as to the reason. Basically when an online order is returned to the store, it is deducted from the daily sales of the salespeople and they lose their commission for the day.

In short if they sold $1000 worth of merchandise in a day and an online order worth $500 is returned to that store, they only get commission on $500. Even though they never sold it to you.

Many managers will actually pay to ship it back to the warehouse so they don’t lose the commission.

i called jos abank when the total in my cart was $99.95 after putting 5 shirts in my cart. i wanted to know if i can still get the 20 off even though i was 5 cents short. the lady said to me -“where did you get this code?” so i atold her i received it in an email. she then went on to ask me if i got it from “dansdeals” :-).

You probably will not be able to do that. They usually (and are supposed to) reapply the discount based on your adjusted order and credit you the difference. The exception to this is for shipping, and you should be able to get free shipping even after returning an item that brings you below the $195 threshold.

The entire order will be discounted so if you return part of the order that percentage of the coupon will also be deducted. (if you order 6 shirts and return 3 you will only get back $49.98 if you used the coupon)

@love this: Again, “regular price” is not really $99, that’s just the price they jack it up to before putting it on “sale” again. They do this with all their merchandise which is way several states are in a suit against them for price manipulation. Not a bad price but not the deal it seems.

yea their tailored fit aint so tailored . the slim fit is slimmer ( opposite of charles t ) maybe that`s ok but they are not on sale …..

bc is right, these shirts are not worth $99. I consider ~75% off the sticker price the “real” retail value for Jos A Banks items. > 75% off gets into the category of a “real” sale IMO, which is why I’d only consider buying these a deal if you can knock it to <$20/shirt.

the collars are not as good as bb you always need a collar stay and the shirt is really really thin so be prepared

I have both the tailored Jos A bank twill traveller tailored fit and a CT tailored fit. CT is noticeably more fitted.

FYI Jos A Banks
has an exception on the return policy for white shirts. Even if they arrive damaged, they do not take them back.

To the fellow who wants the $20.00 discount but has an order of only $99.95 purchase shoelaces for $3.00. That’s what I did to bring it over $100.00!

I just spoke with Joseph A Bank. Apparently they are “discontinuing” the stays cool shirts. After speaking with a few reps, it seems that they MAY come back next season; summer.

My order still looks good. I have 6 of these shirts coming to me in a few days size 15 1/2 34 white widespread collar. I would sell them for $30 each plus the cost to ship them. Anyone intrested?

These are the worst shirts i ever got. the trim fit is not trim at all , and the wrinkles are really free, they didn’t charge for them.
