El-Al has just told me on the phone that they have extended the option to change the tickets to September 14, 2012.

Dan – any chance they will let you change a name on a ticket?

Update:

I just called ElAl in Israel and asked them to change my flight for the way back to the 01:00 AM flight that every rep till now was telling

me its not open; and low and behold he told me it’s now open!! After that he told me that the “Promotion” to switch to non-stop is now

extending till Sep. 14. BUT- after tomorrow if you want to switch the way from TLV-JFK it will be $220 per

person. However the way from JFK-TLV will stay at $75

I asked which class it’s being booked in and he said it’s a special class for this “promotion”.

I just called today and they told me the $75 rate is ending tomorow. The way back they have no direct flights for the entire 3+ before or after, so Im stuck with the stop:(

You can always change by more than 3 days if needed.

What is the deadline to apply for the starwood card? is it also 8/31?
