Using Chase Points:
You can pay for the ticket with “hybrid points” such as AMEX or Chase points with a card that allows your points to be used at an increased value for airfare in addition to be able to transfer points into airline miles.
If you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve® card you can redeem points for 1.5 cents each towards travel. If you have a Chase Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card® Card or Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card you can redeem points for 1.25 cents each towards travel.
You can login to your account and redeem Chase points for travel here. The cost will be just 46,067 points each way with a Sapphire Reserve! That rate include all taxes and you will still earn flight miles as well!
Using AMEX points:
- If you have an AMEX Business Platinum Card you can get a 35% rebate of points used on the airline of your choice.
- If you have an AMEX Business Gold Card you can get a 25% rebate of points used on the airline of your choice.
You can login to your account and redeem AMEX points for travel here.

It should be round trip not each way
Ugh.
Fast day brain!
Thought Amex MR rebate was only for business?
In coach it’s valid on the airline of your choice.
If you chat with AMEX you can change it multiple times.
Will they change it even if I have used some of the $200 airline credit?
Chat and let us know.
yes, but as the poster said, only for Amex Biz Plat, not consumer. Happy to be corrected if I’m wrong.
So this is not bookable with United Miles or through the United Webpage? Only Priceline, Orbitiz or Expedia?
Does it make sense to purchase now for a flight in February?
If you can get any of these prices absolutely because they will definitely go up. In respect to the flights from Chicago, I highly expect their schedule to change (resulting in a full refund with no strings attached tltegardkess of the booking date ) since some genius at United decided to schedule flights arriving on Erev Shabbat and leaving on Shabbat. I wonder how long it will take United to figure that out?
There’s a reason for it:

Prices not coming up in United or Orbitz, 50% more than on ita matrix
The good news is United just extended their no change fees to Aug 31.Flights are cheaper on Unitedיs site. But still 30% more. OTOH you can choose your fare class to get more miles.
How about ewr? booking and changing origin?
Has ANYONE gotten any of these prices or is this a free Untied (sic) ad for bait and switch. They only show up on it’s matrix and don’t convert with “book with matrix” they are 50% higher than advertised also with Chase UR the same prices come up but you do get your discount off of that.
What are the odds for a Non-Israeli to enter Israel after Aug 31st?
How would I search these specific flights up in expedia, or is it possible they’re all gone, first time here btw.
Also is the price for round trip?
