Update: These new routes are now for sale on JetBlue.com

Great for SAN! more competition with United and Alaska can only be a good thing!
Newark!!!!
As a United Premier Gold for a couple years with EWR as my home base, and now ‘gifted’ the JB Mosaic status (thanks to Dan for the heads-up), JB may just begin seeing a lot more biz from me now…
Great news – thanks!
Sad Alaska noises
Unfortunately, Newark Terminal A is a dump. With LGA central terminal redone, it might be the worst terminal in NYC area
It’s being worked on to be replaced as we speak
This is very exciting! When will we be able to book
These routs?
Read the post 🙂
Ewr to LAX !!
Awesome!!
As someone who flies LAX-BOS, I think this is actually bad news for me. Enhancing their EWR hub certainly won’t strengthen their BOS hub.
I’m so excited. I’ve been begging jetblue for years to do Newark-LAX. There’s no real competition united and Alaskan both are terrible
If Alaskan is terrible who’s good?
Any routes from NYC are great! Hopefully it brings down fares lower 🙂
If it was Southwest that was doing this, I’d be thrilled. Enjoyed their Newark to Fort Lauderdale service while it lasted.
Wish they made NY to CLE
Me too!
FWIW, Wizz Air is also adding routes.
They also announced a Cleveland – Fort Myer to start in October
That’s in the post.
Any chance Jetblue (or any other airline) will let a section of each plane for those who chose not to wear face coverings the entire flight?
Let the flyers make their own choices. (ok, we’ll sign whatever waiver their lawyer asks us to sign).
Not a chance.
Not joking. Some people do have a condition of claustrophobia / anxiety. If we bought a ticket before this rule, and have our medical advisor allowing it? Can this go to court?
If one airline would allow it, they would get a large percentage of travelers who chose to make their own decisions. Not sure if you saw the Nascar race which allowed over 5k fans in the stands. Most chose not to wear face coverings. And that was outside. For claustrophobic people, a cross country flight will not be bearable if a mask is forced on them
No and no.
If you want a refund, you can try for that.
I’m not sure of the rules, but if you have medical or physiological conditions which make wearing a mask prohibitive, perhaps have a medical doctor or physciatrist write up a letter
It might be like obese people having to buy multiple seats. If you buy the seats next to and in front of you….. 🙂
Just got an email from United about my upcoming flight: “For the safety of everyone on board, you must wear a face covering during the entire flight, unless you are eating or drinking. Certain travelers are exempt, and United representatives will have masks available for those who need one….”
Any info on which travelers are exempt?
Guess we’re gonna be doing a lot of eating and drinking……
Guess I’ll be eating during the whole flight
What is mint ?
Their version of a First Class cabin with lieflat seats. Mainly only on trans-con flights.
Now *For Sale. Now on sale implies discounted tickets.
This will just add more delays at EWR. I asked jet blue previously, why they don’t offer more flights from EWR and was told delays are to high from there.
If they fly out of terminal A, it will be a disaster, as there’s no room as it is in that terminal
