Bose 700 Noise Cancelling Headphones For $269 Or $69 With AMEX Business Platinum
These are on sale for $299. You can’t use any codes on these headphones.
Plus, many AMEX business cards are targeted with an AMEX Offer for 10% back at Dell through 8/31/20. It’s good for an unlimited number of uses until you get a total of $1,500 in total statement credits!
That 10% back drops the price to $269.10.
The AMEX Business Platinum card normally offers $100 Dell credit to spend every January-June and $100 Dell credit to spend every July-December. You need to register here for the Dell benefit.
Due to the difficulty of using airline fee credits this year, they are doubling the Dell credit to $200 to spend in May-June and $200 Dell credit to spend in July-December. There is no need to register for the extra $200 credit.
That $200 back drops the price to $69.10.
Don’t forget that you shouldn’t want until the last minute to use your Dell credits as the item needs to ship before they charge your card and the deadline for the first $200 credit is 6/30!
You can also see if you’re targeted for AMEX Offers that will award 4 bonus points per dollar and/or 1 bonus point per dollar spent at Dell.
Dell allows you to split a charge among 3 credit cards at checkout. If you have multiple Business Platinum cards that means you can get a $200 credit+10% back on each one by splitting the charge among multiple cards.
Bose makes the gold standard of Noise-cancelling headphones. I use the QuietComfort 35s every day and find them to be much more comfortable than its predecessors. Being able to move around with out any cords attached at work or on a plane is a true pleasure. They are excellent for making phone calls, listening to music, or drowning out background noise. They also fold into a more compact case than previous versions.
The noise cancellation drowns out the drone of an airplane engine so well that when you take them off in middle of a flight you’ll be in shock that you were ever able to fly without them. They make for a peaceful flight and I sleep like a baby on the plane with them over my ears.
This is the Series II version of these headphones, which includes Google Assistant and Alexa.
Personally, I prefer the QC35s over the Bose 700 headphones, but others think that 700s are superior.
- Three levels of world-class noise cancellation for better listening experience in any environment
- Alexa-enabled for voice access to music, information, and more
- Noise-rejecting dual-microphone system for clear sound and voice pick-up
- Hassle-free Bluetooth pairing, personalized settings, access to future updates, and more through the Bose connect app
- Enabled with Bose AR – an innovative, audio-only version of augmented reality – Through a firmware update via the Bose connect app.
- For iPhone, iPad, and Android users, be sure your product’s firmware is up to date through the Bose connect app. Then you can access a showcase of Bose ar-enhanced apps with Links to download them.

Yes?
They were selling recently on ebay (sold by Bose) for $249. Price recently changed to $269. Limited edition
The Rose colored ones?
The triple mid night ones are limited edition
How do you get the 10% off on multiple cards, once you apply it to one doesn’t it go away for the others.
The second 10% is on your spouses card. The third 10% is on your kids card. Etc.
69.10 + 19.93 sales tax = $89.03
(sales tax is on $299 even if you get cash back from amex)
A friend of mine has the AMEX Business Platinum card. While I was on the phone with him, he saw he was targeted with the 10% offer. He signed up for that. He then ordered the headphones. However, the 10% off and the $200 did not come off up front. Do these discounts hit after the fact (retroactively on the monthly statement), or did we do something wrong?
After the fact, assuming you registered for both.
Hi Dan!
Thanks for the reply. Were there two offers he needed to sign up for? A 10% off offer and a $100 (which becomes a $200) off offer? I thought the $100 off was a card benefit. Have a good Shabbos!
You still need to enroll in that benefit. The 10% back is a Amex offer that needs to be added to the card.
Hi Julian! Thanks for replying. I confirmed with my friend that he for sure signed up for the 10% off from Dell.
The question I have is around the $100 ($200) off offer. Did he need to sign up for that too? If so, where? Is there a way to know if he already is signed up for it? Isn’t it not just a baked in card benefit?
You need to enroll first, link is in the post.
My friend just stopped by and he signed up for the $100 offer now. However, he bought the headphones last night! The charge is still in a pending status and they were to be delivered by 6/22.
Should he call up and cancel the first order and then re-order them (now that he has both discounts on his AMEX Account), or will get the $200 bonus anyway because it is on the account now and the charge is still pending?
Seems safer to cancel and re-order. Thoughts?
Cancel and reorder is certainly safer, though he might get it either way.
In the end, he did not cancel the order. Both discounts came through!
He bought the headphones for $328.15 (299.99 + 9.75% sales tax). The 20% off discount brought it down to $295.33 and then the second discount of $200 brought it down to $95.33.
It did not end up being $69 + tax, but $95 is still very good! Thanks Dan for your help with this!
Dan,
I got a dell catalog in the mail with 15% off coupon after I ordered the headphones. Anyway to get it applied after purchase ?
