But why not buy it from apple.com for that price and get free airpods?
Because most people aren’t active college students?
they dont have that deal anymore
advertises 256 gb but then it says 8gb why the difference ?
8GB RAM
256GB SSD storage
This is no longer the latest model. Apple has updated to their own processor instead of intel.
correct it might be worth to spend a bit more for the newest one
I see $929 and $1249 on Amazon. Same as yesterday!
Seeing as the new MacBooks are running on ARM based CPU’s, isn’t there a strong chance that some software developers will transition away from updating and eventually supporting these intel based MacBooks?
Like I know everyone buying apple products is aware of the planned obsolescence concept to some degree or another, but isn’t this worse than just a battery needing to be charged more often once the new model comes out? Here you won’t have the programs you need in a year or two.
The new one is only $50 more on the education store (no verification required). Even comparing the standard price – $150 savings isn’t worth it in this case.

must present education evidence before item ships…
Occasional checks I believe.
its $100 more
New model alert
I’m not sure why you would go for this, when the new ones just came out at similar pricing
Just got the i3 for $799
