Also PDX via LAX. h/t some guy via GSTP
Great fare!
Except you’d have to want to be in Algieria, fly through Houston, and expect AirFrance to not go bankrupt in the meantime.
second that
who in the world would want to fly there even later
Yea, Houston can be a mess.
LOL
Family of 5 with 3 young kids. All above 2yo. what to do?
Keep that family home. Stay safe
IS not ticketing on Orbitz, any ideas?
Not sure it’s a safe idea!
May as well go to sirya. Probably the same
This is ignorance.
Of course. That’s not how you spell Syria
Algeria is quite safe, or go to Marrakech, then fly there
Thanks Dan! I may actually have use for this!
Algeria is amazing!
Any experience?

Nothing actually bookable… Fails at ticket issue step
Out of curiosity, has anyone figured out a way to start/end in Paris?
Tried twice to ticket ALG-CDG-SFO-PDX, get an error that is sold out after I click to submit with CC information.
This is dead……
Is not booking on Orbitz but it is booking on Expedia…
Fares are gone in Expedia too and Orbits is not ticketing
Was anyone able to actually book/ticket?
2 🙂
Crossing fingers…
Might also want to add that to enter Algeria there is a $160 visa fee, and it is not a visa on arrival either.
Including if you just transfer in the airport?
Shouldn’t be fir less than 12 hours.
Its on 006 stock so ull be getting 5×472 skymiles, not 300%
“Sorry, Your flight to Portland sold out.”
This would have been perfect to stage back from Africa.
The good thing abt it not being on AF stock is Amex cant deny the inevitable dispute when they refuse to refund these later on:)
Hello Dan,
Thank you for the awesome website. I have gotten many great deals thanks to you. PLEASE stop posting cheap flight info for the duration of the pandemic. If one person takes it up and gets sick…or at least make a seperate link on the site for people who must travel to check for bargains. Don’t put it up in the regular posts where an irrepsonsible person might be tempted.
chag kosher visemach! A healthy Pesach to you and your family.
That’s why there’s a bold disclaimer.
You’ll never satisfy everyone
This can be booked very far in advance.
Go away.
I tried numerous times on Orbitz and Priceline and was always telling me error after putting in all information.
Tried with Amex Travel and went through and they have a free 24 hour cancellation too
Got 2! To be clear, we can cancel these tickets and get a full refund until the flight takes off, correct?
Still works, Expedia
trying to figure out a normal itierary that would include israel but there is no direct from israel to algeria
I don’t think it’s a mistake. They need whatever cash they can get now.
Just booked on Expedia for 2021. Thanks Dan!Couldn’t get a long layover in Paris to work though. Now where to go in Africa??
you can if you do via a travel agent pm me in the forum and ill build it for you
Dan, is it true that Jews can visit Nigeria, or can have problems? I read online that if you’ve been to Israel they won’t give you a visitors visa.
Pls clarify if possible
Do you mean Algeria?
Israel hasn’t stamped passports with tourist visas in over 7 years, so odds are you don’t have one.
Yes, I mean Algeria.
I know I don’t have a stamp, but I have a very Jewish frum look 😉
I booked this flight, and making the decisions afterwards…
ANY experience or can you shed some light on the topic.
Much appreciated
Not an issue.
What abt for those of us that have israeli studemt visas?
I have the same question
I don’t think they will honor this ticket, remember those LAX-CDG-LHR RT 1,500$ in first class on 12-19-17 all got cancelled
Booked easy with Expedia ! Trying to get a stopover in CDG for a full 24- 48 hours. Any help?

Same. Just received Itinerary Receipt from airline in business. On Expedia still shows First.
What do we gain from filing a D.O.T. Complaint?
Same, F to J
Now Expedia send an e-mail, that my tickets have been changed. If anyone finds a successful way to get First class back, please post.
File a DoT complaint.

Already did not sure anything will come of it though, what is the best case scenario
Dear Customer,
Due to a system error with a mistaken fare, your Delta tickets for travel on Air France in La Première/First Class which were recently purchased have to be cancelled.
You will be rebooked in Business Class for the same date and flight; alternatively, you may request a full refund of the fare paid, consistent with DOT guidelines and policy.
We apologize for this inconvenience.
If you have any questions in the meantime, you may Contact Us on Delta.com to help you in this matter.
Kind Regards,
Airfrance
Just received this from Expedia…
Dear Valued Customer,
We have been made aware by Delta Air Lines that between the 6th and 28th of March 2020, Delta Air Lines had a system issue with the pricing of their tickets, which caused a number of tickets purchased in Air France La Premiere to be sold at prices significantly lower than their actual value. Due to this error, Delta Air Lines has taken the decision to rebook these tickets to the business cabin on Air France.
Options available to you provided by Delta Air Lines:
1. Accept the business cabin class ticket – no action is required; you have been re-booked and your ticket has been re-issued. You do not need to contact either Expedia or the airline(s).
2. Request a refund – if you would like to request a refund, please contact Delta Air Lines directly at – For travel within the US: 1-800-221-1212, For travel outside the US: 1-800-241-4141, For refunds: 1-800-847-0578
We regret the inconvenience that this may have caused you.
Sincerely,
The Expedia Team
Anyone successful fighting this?
No luck with DOT complaint as well. Delta won’t agree to anything except a refund. Should I just accept the refund?
