The dates I checked for 3 days was 06/18-06/21 and for a week 06/18-06/25.

cheapest i found for hyundai accent was $35 per day

I searched Miami International Airport from 06/18-06/21 couldnt find your rates. Hyundai Accent is 27$ a day and it goes up from there….

I rented from Sixt FLL last May. Great cheap luxery cars and fast and friendly service!

I have rented from Sixt (from the Fort Lauderdale airport), great service, great cars, clean cars, and a great price. But you have to take two shuttles to get there (it’s an extra 5 to 8 minutes as opposed to other rental companies) but it’s worth it.

Anything for fll dec 13 – dec 18?

I looked at ft lauderdale airport 8/5-/8/12, accent started at $37.93 an went up from there….

I would love a cheap mercedes for my trip…

Just be aware that you credit card insurance won’t cover for a luxury vehicle such as a Mercedes or an SUV

You also can match your avis pc or hertz pc to sixt and get sixt platinum which gets you better rates and upgrades.

Definitely not necessarily true, it just depends if your card gives 50K, 75K, or 100K in coverage and what the car is actually worth.

Searched for 6/14 – 6/19 didn’t get these rates for the lux cars. Any way I can?

i rented from there over pesach they gave me a jaguar XF for under $250 for the week. Would highly recommend

@Dan: You would first signup for Sixt Express card then you would email: “customerservice-usa@sixt.com” your request for the status match with a snapshot of the competitors membership.

@yitz: Any regular Amex card will cover up to 50k. Platinum gives you 75k. Besides you can purchase Premium Car Rental Protection for $25/rental and you would get covered up to $100k.

I’m going in August and the rates are not nearly this good. (Cheapest is $22 a day). Any tips on getting a cheap rental welcome.

I can understand the concept of not buying a Mercedes/BMW, after all, they are status symbols and can offend some people.

But really, you shouldn’t rent a car for $13 a day (less than the cost of renting any car at most agencies) because it’s a Mercedes?

I assume the offer only works for those specific dates in June, correct?

Is there any connection to shlomo sixt in Israel? And do they have the same deals?

I used Sixt Miami a few months ago for an MB E-Class for $29/day. It had 500 miles on it. It was pretty sweet.

Since most cards only cover up to $50K car value for insurance, and this is almost a $100K car, I used the Amex Platinum Additional Insurance for $25 for the whole week.

I didn’t end up having a problem, but I had heard some reports of Sixt charging folks for scratches, possibly pre-existing scratches, so I figured $25 was decent, just in case.

I agree with gefilte fish! i don’t feel right even sitting in a mercedes- it is the most blatant german product around, while there are survivors alive, we should not be using them- not right!

I’m looking from PBI and retuen @ FLL from 7/2 in the morning to 7/3 evening. Cheapest it gave me was $35/day for hyundai accent

the homepage now lists it as $49 and $39 for the mercedes c class, maybe it was an error the publisher of this post got lucky with.

We are currently renting a car from Six in Fort Lauderdale. We reserved and paid for a Toyota Corolla online for under $7/day. When we got there, they gave us a free upgrade and we ended up with a convertible.

DAN, is there a limit ie can I get these rates by the month? I would do it if its unlimited milage.

We rented a Mercedes GLK for 2 weeks over Pesach. They are a pleasure to deal with, their cars are in excellent condition. Highly recommended!

I’m getting a rate of $465 for a full size for 3 and half weeks.

Not much cheaper than other avis 🙁 ($520)
