Marriott Bonvoy Moments may no longer be offering amazing MLB experiences, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t value in the program.
The S. Regis Punta Mita is a Marriott category 8 hotel located less than an hour from the Puerto Vallarta airport in Mexico. It currently costs 85K points per night, though it will range between 70K-100K once peak pricing goes into effect on 9/14.

Together with all of the bonuses added to this package, it’s a truly amazing value and a dream of a lifetime for tennis fans who want to get tips and help from Andre Agassi!

The attending guestsĀ will be notified approximately one week prior to the clinic about the exact time of day it will take place.
- During the tennis clinic, Andre Agassi will be feeding balls, providing pointers, and hitting ground strokes alongside attendees. Andre Agassi will not rally or play any points, games or sets with any attendees.

Shame that it’s over shabbos š
And during hurricane season.
can u bring kids along?
Access for two
Very cool. Although the terms and conditions state the tennis clinic will be Saturday morning. Such a bummer. There’s also this gem in the conditions: “During the tennis clinic, Andre Agassi will be feeding balls, providing pointers, and hitting ground strokes alongside attendees. Andre Agassi will not rally or play any points, games or sets with any attendees.” So no challenging Agassi to a quick tiebreaker…
hey Dan, will you be doing an article about the new Apple Card?
Thanks in advance!
Playing points with Agassi would make it special. This is similar to the Dwayne Wade event they had. It was nothing special until wade played everyone one on one for a few points. Wade also signed as many things as you wanted.
The player is always free to do more. But contractually they don’t have to.
You won’t know what will happen until you’re there.
Not a tennis fan, and don’t know the athlete, is the value still amazing without the tennis part?
If I book this and cannot end up attending, is it transferable to someone else’s name? Or otherwise cancellable?
Just check the rate for 9/13-9/15 and it is $325/night. Could prices have dropped this much since this was posted? Or was this the $1271.94 rate including some sort of package?
Tried to bid on these. They were going up almost double the 175K. Highest being 325K points. Thought I would go and tough it out. But this is by far the worse time to go to PV. I have read comments people saying it was the worse 2 days of their lives in PV in September. They were at a place where A/C was off, but still, read comments such as don’t bother drying off after shower because by the time you get your clothes on you will be just as wet from the humidity and heat.
Of course St. Regis would be beautiful, but not sure we could get out of the room much without sweating a ton. Not that bad for me, but wife hates high humidity.
I see St Regis was selling rooms right before this event for $210. I could use my Citi 4th night free to pick up 4 nights for 25K TYP each including breakfast, so if I want to go in the heat it wouldn’t cost me that much. So its a pretty big premium to need to pay to meet/greet Andre. Not sure how we would even be able to use up their $500 resort credit over 2 nights, since they already include a dinner as well. Think the $500 is a bit of a gimmick. How much food can you possibly eat? And spa was limited to availability, with everyone having their $500 to spend, not sure we could even get in.
Still, for the experience wish I could have got in on it at 175K. So thanks for posting and I will need to keep better track of this blog!
As far as staying in PV for a luxury vacation, sounds like Casa Velas would be a good value at 30K hyatt/night. Those rooms are running at $600 right now even in September. Probably plan a trip there during better weather time for a great value.
If I wanted to be in PV in Sept, the Hyatt Ziva would be a great deal right now. Under 13K/ TYP/Night using Citi 4th night free.
