Just happen to need a mousepad for my glass table and a mouse for the new computer. This came perfectly right in time!
Try adding the blue mouse instead of the red. Worked for me

Now I got a cancellation email, that they’re cancelling the Mouse part of the order – but still showing that the MousePad portion as active for the same total…

Same here. Very frustrating bait-and-switch. As soon as I got the cancellation email, I tried (many times) to cancel the entire order, but Amazon wouldn’t process the cancellation. So I’m stuck paying the same price but getting only the overpriced mousepad. Based on the comments of others, it’s not worth the effort to fight with Amazon over the difference, but I won’t ever use another Amazon code that requires a bundle like this one did. I’ll just pass.
